Entries can be sent to address below prior to the show. Phone, fax or email for entry forms. Show office
will be open Thursday before the show to accept entries. Entries will be automatically entered for all three days. Cheques
to be made payable to Borderland Quarter Horse Association.
All pets must be on a leash at all times! Not responsible
for Accidents or Loss of Property.

* $50 per
horse shown will be added to the purse up to a maximum $250 except for Western Pleasure which will be a maximum of $500 over
the 2 days. Must have a minimum of 3 horses to run the class. 100% payback. Sponsored by Borderland Quarter Horse
Association.
Rules: Payouts pay to 4th place and are awarded 40% for 1st place,
30% for 2nd place, 20% for 3rd place and 10% for 4th place. For futurities, participants must show both days to
qualify.
GRASSROOTS
Grassroots is for youth 18 & under that want to show
in an AQHA environment but have not yet earned any points on their horse. You do not have to have a registered AQHA
horse. You can show any breed. Class fees $5 per class or $20 per day.

FOR 2010!
Walk Trot Charity Class (Friday & Saturday) - To enter
this class, you cannot show in any other riding class (other than walk trot ages 7-11) on ANY horse. Entry fee is a
minimum $10 and all money goes to Tamarac House in Thunder Bay (which is a care home for cancer patients). Exhibitors
are encouraged to gather more donations/sponsors for this class. It is designed for horse show supporters (moms, dads,
family, friends) to have a moment in the ring without the pressures of showing. It is a FUN class.
COMPLIMENTARY SUPPER
The supper has been moved to Friday at the show grounds so that participants
can enjoy the stock car races on Saturday. Meal will be beef on a bun with salads and dessert.
CANTEEN
There will be a canteen on the grounds again this year. Proceeds go to the Borderland Racing Association. Thank
you to the stock car club for providing us with the canteen.

WEEKEND CIRCUIT AWARDS
Whenever possible,
special awards are given each weekend. This may vary from show to show.
* Points are calculated as per Rule #417 of the
AQHA handbook. A condensed version is included in each member's show packet.
* YOU MUST SHOW IN OPEN, AMATEUR, OR YOUTH
HALTER CLASSES TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE ALL AROUND AWARD FOR EACH DIVISION.
* Prizes are awarded immediately following
the completion of the last class of the division for which a prize will be awarded. Winners are asked to make themselves available
to the show photographer to have pictures taken for sponsors.
Halter
High point awards are given for Open Stallion, Mare, and Gelding based on the highest aggregate points awarded over the
weekend. One award for each division.
